Rishi Midha is a writer based out of Toronto, Canada.
His short stories have featured in subTerrain and The New Quarterly and won or been a finalist for contests including the LUSH Triumphant Fiction Contest and the Peter Hinchcliffe Short Fiction Award. His story We Are Busy Being Alive was selected for Biblioasis Press’ Best Canadian Stories 2026.
Currently, Rishi is working on his debut story collection, to be published in 2026.
He is also regularly publishing dispatches via his newsletter, welktober.
